Life is uncertain, yet we must make it what we can while we are here to do so. I’ve always said I would write a book someday but thought maybe in my retirement years. The World Trade Center attack made me realize that now is the time to act on our dreams, desires and goals, now is the time to make the most of our God given gifts even through adversity and even if in the smallest of ways. It is time to get reacquainted with ourselves and our loved ones, and also with our hopes, dreams and goals for our future and the future of mankind.
The many Hero’s on flight 93 that went down in Pennsylvania on September 11th 2001 made a choice on that dreadful day. They collectively decided to take their power back. A decision that would decide their fate in a manner that would save potentially thousands of their fellow men, women and children. We must not tarnish their memory even unknowingly. It is through them, their courage, their goodness, their love for mankind that we must live our lives with these same attributes. We all have choices to make, each effecting the way that our journey in life is played out. We can make a difference in the world by the choices we make. Uncover your dreams, desires and goals that have been tucked away safely inside you, perhaps for decades and cultivate and nurture them. Do not allow them to be buried in the rubble. Bring them to fruition and present your gifts and talents to the world. Follow your heart, by doing so, you may become one of Americas next hero’s or bring about a life changing event for yourself, your family or your fellow man. For if we hold back, we are in turn discrediting these hero’s and the cause that they gave their lives for. They stood for freedom and it is with that freedom that we can be or do whatever we set out to accomplish here in America. If we choose not to live up to our true authenticity then we darken their memory and the cause (we the people) for which they and many before them and after them fought or will fight for. Embellish and honor these brave souls. Begin by acting on a positive thought or idea, offer a kind word to a loved one or a stranger. Whether your talent is singing, dancing, acting, designing, painting, arts and crafts, public speaking, writing, reading, care taking or nurturing others, teaching, fund raising, etc… it doesn’t matter, there are ways that you can bring joy and healing to the hearts of others. What are your interests? What do you have a passion for? Take that very same passion and create a way to utilize it and bring goodness to the world whether it be in a small individual way or in a magnitude of ways. Each and every one us has the potential to bring healing and goodness to the world. Find your way! As for my book, I have started it, and the title? “Live, As If There Were No Tomorrow: Cultivating Your Dreams and Desires“. Sub titled, “I’m Learning“. It will be about my own personal journey in life, and how I was able to create heartbreaks into triumphs through physical, emotional and spiritual healing. Take your first step towards something you have always desired to do and begin DISCOVERING WELLNESS. .date-text { display:none; }
